Throughout the year, there are several opportunities for students to perform, which helps them gain poise and self-confidence. During the year, students participate in Technique Demonstrations and have the opportunity to display their choreographic talents at Creative Interludes. In June, we mount a professional production, which is a constructive way to end the year as it gives students a chance to demonstrate to parents and friends how they have progressed. Students in Kinderdance levels and up have the opportunity to participate in our year-end productions.
We do not enter competitions. Students interested in further performance opportunities are encouraged to audition for CSD's dance companies.

CSD senior dancers will perform Georgina Rombough's choreography, "Waiting on the World to Change" at the United Way Campaign Kick-Off at the Accelerator Centre!


Muskoka Ballet Gala - Thursday, Oct. 23 - Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008
Our dance companies have participated in gala performances and workshops at this event for 10 years!


Creative Interludes - Monday, Dec. 8 through Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008
All CSD students in the Primary level and up participate in our in-studio showings that showcase structured creative projects from class and our students' choreographic talents!


Guelph Contemporary Dance Festival – Thursday, May 28 - Sunday, May 31, 2009
Our dance companies have participated in this festival since its inception in the Youth Moves series at the River Run Centre in Guelph.
